What is small-parcel fulfillment?
Small-parcel fulfillment is the warehouse process behind individual ecommerce shipments: receiving products, storing inventory, picking the items in an order, packing them and handing the package to a parcel carrier. It also involves shipment information and the agreed process for returns and exceptions. Package eligibility and charges depend on the carrier, service, weight and dimensions.
Rapid's service is for businesses that need help with the physical operation after checkout. If you already own inventory, start with a fulfillment review. If you need products to sell, explore the separate private-label and dropshipping programs.

Start with the products you sell
Supplements and wellness
Bottles, multipacks, replenishment orders and product bundles. Bring your lot, expiration and storage requirements into the fulfillment plan from the start.
Supplement fulfillment →Skincare and cosmetics
Jars, bottles, multi-step routines and promotional kits. Define packaging, product identification and presentation requirements before shipping begins.
Beauty fulfillment →Subscription brands
Recurring shipments and replenishment programs need available inventory, clear component rules and a process for exceptions.
Subscription fulfillment →Multi-channel ecommerce
Coordinate products and order requirements across your storefront, checkouts and approved marketplace workflows.

How your fulfillment setup comes together
- Review the operation. Share your products, sales channels, SKU count, order volume, inventory location and destination markets. Identify special handling and packaging needs.
- Define the workflow. Map store products to warehouse SKUs. Agree on bundles, shipping services, order eligibility and how changes or holds will be handled.
- Prepare and receive inventory. Provide the inbound shipment information and item records needed for receiving. Resolve count or identification differences before relying on that stock for customer orders.
- Test representative orders. Check single-item orders, multi-item orders and the special cases that matter to your business. Confirm packing instructions and shipment information.
- Launch and review exceptions. Begin fulfillment under the agreed setup and review stock, order issues and replenishment requirements as the business grows.
Plan for the orders you actually sell
| Order type | What to define before launch |
|---|---|
| One bottle | Correct SKU, packaging, packed weight and shipping service. |
| Three-bottle offer | Quantity mapping, additional picks, package size and whether stock is held as components or a kit. |
| Skincare routine | Each component, bottle or jar protection, inserts and product presentation. |
| Recurring shipment | How renewal orders arrive, inventory availability and the rule for a missing item. |
| Promotional bundle | Start/end dates, component quantities, free gifts and handling for leftover kit inventory. |
Shipping speed starts with a clear definition
Warehouse processing time and carrier transit time are different. A same-day processing arrangement does not mean same-day delivery. Your fulfillment setup should identify the cutoff, eligible orders, inventory availability, business days and carrier handoff. The shipping service then determines the expected transit time for the destination.
Tell us the delivery promise you want to make. We can review the operating requirements rather than apply one delivery claim to every product and destination.
Compare the full fulfillment cost
A pick-and-pack fee is one part of the order cost. Receiving, storage, additional items, packaging, postage, returns, account charges and special work may also affect your total. Ask for a quote based on your actual products and order mix, including both recurring costs and any setup work.
Questions to settle before choosing a 3PL
Can Rapid fulfill orders from Shopify and WooCommerce?
Rapid offers fulfillment services for Shopify and WooCommerce brands. The onboarding review establishes the relevant SKU mapping, order flow, packaging and shipment-update requirements.
Do I need to buy products from Rapid?
No. Client-owned inventory fulfillment and supplier/dropshipping programs are different arrangements. If you have your own products, send the product and inventory details for a fulfillment review.
Can you support kits and branded packaging?
Approved workflows can include bundles, kits, inserts and branded materials. The exact setup, material supply, assembly requirements and charges should be documented before launch.
Is every product suitable for standard small-parcel fulfillment?
No. Product acceptance, dimensions, storage specifications, fragility and shipping restrictions need review. Temperature-sensitive or other specialty products require an appropriate operating plan.
What should I send for a quote?
Your website, product categories, approximate monthly orders, SKU count, average items per order, packed dimensions and weights where available, inventory location and main delivery markets.
Tell us what you sell and how you ship.
We will review your order profile and discuss the fulfillment setup your business needs.
